New Hope Baptist Church Car Show
April 05, 2008

Their are advantages and disadvantages to having the first car show of the new year.  The advantages are everyone gets pretty excited about it, the disadvantages is the weather is still unpredictable.  This was the case on the first Saturday of April.  All week long the weather looked "iffy" at best.  Early Saturday morning the clouds rolled in and the rain came!  All in all abut 30 cars showed up to fight of the rain; the church did an outstanding job of hosting their event.  Those of us that braved the weather did have a good time, as our club did real well in the trophy department.  Two of our newest members showed up to brave the weather and ended up going home with trophies of their own..    Congratulations to all and thanks to
New Hope Baptist Church for hosting the first car show of 2008.

Getting to the show early has its advantages
